Friday FOs - 24.07.2015

It has been a busy couple of weeks and I have been able to get a few things finished. Here are my finished objects for this week.

Trauma Teddy #19

Trauma Teddy #20

Trauma Teddy #21
That's last week's, this week's and one from a few months ago. I still have a bag of unfinished bears to get through.

Woollen Baby Blanket - motifs from Ellen Gormley's book
I finished sewing in the ends this morning and have declared this blanket finished. It still needs to be blocked before it's ready for the show but there is plenty of time for that.

That's it from me for this week. Be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 22.07.2015

It has been another slow week on the crochet front as I only worked on three projects.  In my defense, I did go away for the weekend. Here are this week's WIPs.

Story Blanket
One of the women at church asked me to make this for our Sunday School, also known as ASK (Albury Salvos Kids).

Murray of Athol Tartan Blanket
All the chains are done and woven in. I just need to sew in the ends and crochet the border and I will be able to call this one finished.

The other item that I have worked on this week is a trauma teddy which you will get to see on Friday. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Wednesday WIPs - 15.07.2015

I have been really slack this week. I have only worked on two projects other than the trauma teddies. Here are the projects that I have worked on.

Moogly CAL Square #14
This was quite an easy square to make and didn't take very long.

Man-bag
I have now done the closing flap and just need to add the buttons and the shoulder strap.

That's all I have done this week. I won't be posting on Friday as Sue and I will be away for the weekend and we will be leaving early on Friday. You can still check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

I have been busy finishing trauma teddies this week and have four to show you today.  Here they are.

Trauma Teddy #15

Trauma Teddy #16

Trauma Teddy #17

Trauma Teddy #18
The last two of these have been waiting the longest to be finished, the second one was started a fortnight ago and the top one is this week's contribution.

As usual, be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 08.07.2015

I have pretty much been working on the same projects this week as I did last week. I'm still trying to finish these off.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket
Sue had an appointment this week and needed me to drive her there and back so I spent some time working on this one.

Murray of Athol Tartan Blanket
I'm almost finished with the chains, only seven more to do before I sew in the ends and crochet the border.

Man-bag - side one

Man-bag - side two

Man-bag - top view
All this needs now is the closing flap and the shoulder strap which I will be crocheting.

That's it from me for this week, be sure to check back on Friday to see what I have finished. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

I still have a couple of bags of teddies to get finished but they will have to wait.

Wednesday WIPs - 01.07.2015

I  have been a bit slack lately and haven't worked on many of my projects this week. Here are the some of the projects that I have worked on this week.

Moogly CAL  Square #13
I didn't have enough of the dark purple to make this square so I found this bright pink as a substitute. I think it will add something to the finished blanket.

Man-bag
I have finished the cross-stitch part of this project and am now ready to sew it together.

Murray of Athol Tartan Blanket
I'm a little bit closer to having this blanket finished. Just a few more chains to make and weave in then I will be ready to do the border.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket
I had a bit of time in a waiting room this morning so I added a bit more to this.

I have also worked on some trauma teddies and hope to have them finished tomorrow. Be sure to check back on Friday to see if I have managed that. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.
