Friday FOs - 31.01.2020

I have spent quite a busy week at my Sister's place in Mollymook. For those that don't know, Mollymook is on the south coast of NSW and is part of the city of Shoalhaven. It was cut off by the bush fires for a while but all the roads opened up in time for the Australis Day weekend. While there I manage to complete 6 objects, and here they are.

A Wash Cloth
Another Wash Cloth
I made these because I hadn't taken any with me and I found that I needed them.

A Shopping Bag with Pouch

The Shopping Bag in its Pouch
Another shopping bag ready for use.

A Red Sheep

Another Red Sheep
Two more sheep to add to the collection. I just need to make two blue sheep and two yellow sheep to complete two sets of sheep inspired by the book "Where is the Green Sheep".

Comfort Bear No 5 for this year
My 5th comfort bear for this year is ready for service.

Thst's all I hve time for today. Until next time, have a good one.

Friday FOs - 24.01.2020

It has been another week where I seem to have done quite a lot of work but only finished one object, and here it is.

Comfort Bear No. 4 for this year
My fourth Comfort Bear for the year is ready to go to the doctors.

That's all from me for this week. I may not be able to post next week as I will be away from home. Until next time, have a good one.

Wednesday WIPs - 22.01.2020

It is time to show everyone what I have been working on this week.

Hungarian Crochet Square
Time spent waiting for my Chiropractor meant I was able to finish the orange on this square.

Another Hungarian Crochet Square
I was going to start on the orange on this sqare but found a mistake so frogged part of the square so I could fix it.

Two Red Sheep
I have made good progress on my next pair of sheep.

Shopping Bag with Pouch
I had hoped to be finished with this one and already be working on the next, but the best laid plans don't always work out.

That's all I have for you today. Until next time, have a good one.

Friday FOs - 17.01.2020

I have been somewhat more productive this week having finished four objects. Here they are in the order they were completed.

Two Purple Sheep
Another couple of sheep to add to my collection. While there isn't a prurple sheep mentioned in the book "Where is the Green Sheep" there is one pictured so I figured it fits the book.

Shopping Bag with Pouch
Shopping Bag in Pouch
Another shopping ready for use.

Comfort Bear No 3 for this year
My last finished object for this week is another Comfort Bear.

That's all I have for this week. Until next time, have a good one.

Wednesday WIPs - 15.01.2020

I'm still trying to keep up a schedule of regular posts. To that end, here are the objects that I have worked on that either aren't finished or won't be finished by Friday.

Lounge Chair Cover
I have added another round to this object although I do realise that it is quite difficult to see any change from last week.

Hungarian Crochet Square
I had a trip to the doctors this week and managed to add a bit on this square while I was waiting.

Shopping Bag with Pouch
I have started another bag.

Astute readers will probably figure out what objects will feature on Friday when I show off my finished objects.

That's all I have for you today. Until next time, have a good one.

Friday FOs - 10.01.2020

I feel that I haven't been particularly productive this week as I have only finished one item, and here it is.

Second Comfort Bear for the year
It shouldn't surprise anyone that it is another comfort bear.

That's all I have for you this week. Until next time, have a good one.

Wednesday WIPs - 08.01.2019

I haven't made a lot of progress this week but I thought I should try and keep up a regular pasting plan, so, here are the projects I have worked on this week.

 Lounge Chair Cover
I don't know that you can tell but I have added a few stitches to this one.

Two Purple Sheep
One body finished and the second started. I had hoped to get this finished for this week but I don't think that is going to happen.
Shopping Bag with Pouch
Some progress was made on this shopping bag, unfortunately, it isn't going to get finished this week.

I have also worked on this week's comfort bear and I will finish it in time for Friday so I didn't take a photo of it today.

That's all I have for you today. Until next time, have a good one.

Friday FOs - 03.01.2020

The first Friday of the year and I'm starting the year off right with two finished objects, although one of these was technically finished last year. Here they are.

A Red Shopping Bag with Pouch
The Red Shopping Bag in its Pouch
Another shopping bag to add to my collection. I now have two in stock but I need more.

Comfort Bear No. 1 for this year
My first comfort bear for the year. I averaged one per week last year. Lets see if I can manage to match that this year.

That's all I have for this week. Until next time, have a good one.

Wednesday WIPs - 01.01.2020

I thought it would be a good idea to start the new year by showing off all my WIPs, so here they are.

A Comfort Bear in the making
This is what this week's comfort bear looked like a 3:00pm. I don't normally show these on Wednesday as I am confident that I can complete it before Friday But thought I might as well include it today.

A Shopping Bag with Pouch
Another bag to add to the collection. This one probably won't be finished by Friday but the one I started last week is so I do have a bag to show off on Friday.

Two Purple Sheep
Two heads, 8 legs and half a body done so far. I doubt if I will get these finished in the next couple of days.

Lounge Chair Cover
I only work on this on Friday evenings after I have posted my finished objects for the week. Most weeks I don't seem to have any time to work on it at all.

Story Time Blanket
Reverse side of Story Time Blanket
This is a project I started a few years ago for the Sunday School kids. I mostly work on this on Friday mornings while at crochet class so it's in time out now due to no classes and being too hot to work on. In the first photo it looks pretty mush done but a close look at the second reveals all the ends yet to be sewn in. I also plan on embroidering a Bible verse in the blank area next to the cross.

Corner to Corner Pixel Blanket
This is one of two projects I work on while at markets. I'm still trying to work out the best way of avoiding having so many ends to sew in. The top left square was my first attempt and there are far too many ends.

Double Knit Butterfly Squares - side one
Double Knit Butterfly Squares - side two
This is the second of the two projects I work on while at markets. I'm still kinda learning the technique and hve recently seen a video on how to cast on for double knitting. Myabe I will try it for the next square.

Hungarian Crochet Squares
This is my 'waiting room' project. I seem to spend quite a bit of time in waiting rooms (might be because of my age) and I need something to work on because I'm not really into reading magazines.

Short Rows Knitted Scarf
This is another project that goes pretty much every where I do but only comes out when I'm bored with everything else. I made one of these in Tunisian Crochet and thought I would try a knitted version.

Sunhat and Bootees
While this is a UFO I'm not sure that it qualifies as a WIP as I don't really have any incentive to finished it. Baby clothes just don't seem to be selling at the moment. It seems that the current generation of parents just aren't interested in putting their kids in handmade clothing.

I should probably check my to-do lost (posted on Monday) to see if I managed to find all my unfinished objects (or make sure they're all listed) but these are the ones that I did find.

That's it for now. Until next time, have a good one.

Richard.
