Happy Valentine's Day to all that celebrate. This week I have managed to finish a couple of my longer term projects as well as one of my regular items. Here they are.

Pineapple Doily |
I find it amazing how flat this sits now that it's completed compared with a few weeks ago. I will be making another of these eventually as I would like to have a pair for the market stall but I only need one for the show later this year.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket |
I would have liked to make this larger but without more of the variegated yarn it just wasn't really possible. I think another round of black would have been too much. This is another blanket that I would like to try again sometime but it will have to be done using scraps next time.

Trauma Teddy # 23 |
Or # 6 for 2014 if you would prefer. The lady that distributes these hasn't been at church lately so there is a bit of a stockpile building up.
That's all from me for this week. I won't be able to do a Friday FOs post next week as Sue and I are going away for the weekend. Check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have made this week.
Richard.
Love the blanket, it's stunning!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is great. Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love that blanket, the contrast between the black and the variegated is stunning!
ReplyDeleteAh, the doily! I have inherited a handful of doilies from my grandmother and every time I look at them I am amazed by the time and effort that went into so many of her pieces. Great job!
