Wednesday WIPs - 13.05.2015

First off, I would like to apologise for not posting my FOs on Friday and not letting you know that I wasn't going to be posting on Friday. I spent most of Friday in the car driving to Mudgee so didn't get much chance to take photos and didn't feel much like posting after the 8 hour trip. I will be posting this Friday (if I remember) so look out for that one as it will have two weeks of FOs (two beanies instead of one).

Because of the trip, and because I need to concentrate my efforts on an order, I have worked on many projects this week. Here are the WIPs that have progressed.

Child's Beanie
It doesn't look much like a beanie yet but that's because this particular pattern is worked flat. This is an order for one of the ladies at church who wants it for her son. so I do hope I'm making it the right size.

Moogly CAL Square #9
I wrongly call the last one #9 when it should have been #8. I don't know how I got the numbering wrong but I figured I should correct it as soon as possible. This was definitely an interest square to work on with plenty of texture.

Man Bag or Tablet Carry Bag
The second side is progress with the frame almost complete. I think I prefer the block lettering over the cursive but I'm not going to go back and change the other side now.

That's all the projects I have worked on this week. I hope to be able to work on others next week but I mostly depends on how quickly I can get the beanie one. It would be much quicker if I crocheted it as I quite a slow knitter but I think a knitted beanie is more suitable for a child as it will stretch as the child grows.

Be sure to check back on Friday to see what I have managed to finish and, as usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been working on.

Richard.
