Friday FOs - 26.06.2015

I didn't get the trauma teddy finished for today so you will have to wait until next Friday to see it. Hopefully I will have more than one by then. I still have a finished object to show you today and here it is.

Dimetrodon
This is one of Planetjune's designs which I decided to make because she is running a dinosaur CAL at the moment.

As usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made this week.

Edited to correct the name of the dinosaur.

Wednesday WIPs - 24.06.2015

Today's post may make it look like I haven't been real busy but that is because a couple of the projects I have been working on are finished so you won't get to see them until Friday. Here are the projects that I have worked on that are still WIPs.

Murray of Athol Tartan Blanket
A few more chains have been made and woven in. I think it will be a few weeks before I get this one finished.

Man-bag
I'm almost finished with the cross-stitch part of this and will soon be ready to sew it up.

I have also worked on the Woollen Baby Blanket but only sewing in ends so it doesn't look much different than the last time I showed it. I will be continuing sewing in the ends for a few weeks before it is ready for blocking. I also started this week's trauma teddy but didn't take a photo. Hopefully you will get to see it on Friday along with my other finished object.

As usual, be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Friday FOs - 19.06.2015

I'm still trying to catch up and get all the trauma teddies finished. I have managed to get a couple done this week and here they are.

Trauma Teddy #12

Trauma Teddy #13
I still have a bag full of teddy parts to put together but I am making progress.

Wednesday WIPs - 17.06.2015

This week I have been trying to decide which of my projects are going to get priority as I have been reviewing where I want to go with markets and shows. Here are the projects that I have worked on this week.

Man-bag
This is going to be my main project for a little while, at least until it's finished.

Moogly CAL Square #12
I'm halfway through this CAL now with another 12 to go.

Trauma Teddy
I will be continuing to make these for the foreseeable future, at least until I'm told to stop.

Murray of Athol Tartan Blanket
I'm quite close to finishing this one so it is going to get priority over other projects.

That's it from me for this week. Be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Friday FOs - 12.06.2015

Just one thing finished this week. Surprise, surprise, it's a trauma teddy!

Trauma Teddy #11
I checked my Ravelry projects to confirm that this is actually the 11th trauma teddy that I have finished this year. I really need to get stuck in and finish some more as I am way behind the one per week target.

That's it from me for this week. Check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs -10.06.2015

I'm late, I forgot to post this last night, but it's still Wednesday in some parts of the world so I don't think I'm too late. Here are some of the projects that I have worked on this week.

Man-bag
I still have a bit of cross-stitch to do on this one before it's ready to be sewn up.

Butterfly Square ( side one )

Butterfly Square ( side two )
I started a new square on Saturday. I wanted to see how the variegated pink went with the blue. I think it looks OK.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket
I still have a bit to do on the second sleeve but I am making progress.

I have worked on the Woollen Baby Blanket but it has only been sewing in ends so it doesn't look much different to last week so I didn't think there was any point in taking another photo.

That's it from me for this week. Be sure to check back on Friday to see if I have managed to finish anything. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.

Friday FOs - 05.06.2015

I almost didn't have anything finished for today but I took my latest beanie to crochet class this morning just so I could finish it. Here it is!

Beanie in NSW State of Origin colours
Someone saw me making the St Kilda beanie and told me that I should make one in NSW colours even though they lost the first state of origin match so here it is.

That's it for me for this week. As usual, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have made.

Wednesday WIPs - 03.06.2015

Well, Red Shield is over for another year and things are starting to return to normal  (just not really sure what normal is). I think this means that I might not have as much time to crochet as I have had over the last couple of weeks but I will have more time to catch up on my email. I have still managed to make progress on most of my projects and here they are.

Woollen Baby Blanket - motifs from Ellen Gormley's book
I have finished all the motifs for this blanket and now just have to sew in all the ends. This isn't a job that I have been looking forward to.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket
I pulled this one out again this week and added a few more blocks of colour.

Two Monkeys
I finished the body of one of the monkeys and almost did the same on the other.

Butterfly Blanket - side one

Butterfly Blanket - side two
I managed to finish the second panel of this blanket.

Shy Butterfly Baby Jacket
The second sleeve is growing slowly but it is growing.

Trauma Teddy
This is how much I managed to get done during Craft'n'Cuppa. I have now completed all the parts and it is ready to be handed over to the lady who sews the tags on.

Man-bag
I'm still working on the cross-stitch part of this project but should be ready to sew it up in a couple of weeks.

Moogly CAL Square #11
This one seemed to work up quite quickly in spite of having to work in both loops of the stitches separately to create the flower.

That's it from me for this week. Be sure to check back on Friday to see if I have managed to finish anything. In the meantime, check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been working on.
