Wednesday WIPs - 30.07.2014

I've been a bit slack the last couple of days and haven't kept up my regular schedule so only a few of my projects have been worked on this week. The only projects I've worked on this week are the ones I took with me to Sydney on the weekend and my usual Trauma Teddy so here they are (minus the Trauma Teddy).

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
I have almost finished the first sleeve.

Woollen Baby Blanket
Another four octagons have been added. I think I'm almost up to where I was when I pulled it apart.

Knooked Scarf
I didn't get through a full repeat of the pattern this week bu progress was made.

I managed to finish the Trauma Teddy today so you will get to see it along with the items that I finished last week on Friday. In the mean time, check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been making, and if you come back on Saturday you might get to see what I was up to last weekend.

Wednesday WIPs - 23.07.2014

It has been another busy week for me this week. I almost didn't get to work on all of my WIPs. I still haven't worked on any toys for the market stall which is a bit of a worry as I really need to replace some that I sold recently. Maybe I will get to them next week.

He are my WIPs for this week.

Woollen Baby Blanket - motifs for Ellen Gormley's book
I managed to complete another row of squares.

Knooked Scarf
I had a bit of trouble with this one having made a mistake and not finding out until I realised that I didn't have enough stitches to complete the patter so I had to frog quite a few rows to fix it. As a result I didn't complete a full repeat of the pattern so I may have to try and make up for that this week.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket in Rainbow colours
I spent a bit of time on this while waiting for Sue to get an injection.

Baby's Jacket, Pants and Hat set
I finished the crocheting on the main body of the Jacket this week. Just have to sew it up and get to work on the edging.

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
I managed to do a bit more work on the sleeve this week.

Small Santa Stocking
Finished the main part of the stocking and started sewing it up. This one should be finished for next Friday.

Murray of Athol Tartan Rug
A few more chains made and woven in.It's quite slow going with this one.

That's all my WIPs for this week. While I have a couple of items finished I won't be doing an FO Friday post this week as I will be going away for the weekend and won't have opportunity to take photos and won't have my laptop with me so you will have to wait until next week to see them. In the mean time, check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been making.

Friday FOs - 18.07.2014

Another Friday has arrived and it's time to show off my finished objects again. I had hoped to be able to show more than two objects but that's all I've finished this week.

Here they are.

Christmas Tree
A bit early for Christmas but I figured I would give myself plenty of time to build up stock ready for spring.

Trauma Teddy #45
This is number 27 for 2014.

That's it for this week. Be sure to check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been making.

Wednesday WIPs - 16.07.2014

It has been another busy week here in Rose Manor with quite a bit of progress and a couple of new projects. We got home from Craft'n'Cuppa a little late today and while it was bright and sunny for most of the day by the time we got home it was quite dull so my photos may reflect that lake of light.

Here are my WIPs for this week.

Woollen Baby Blanket - motifs from Ellen Gormley's book
Four octagons were added to this.

Murray of Athol Tartan Rug
Seven more chains have been woven in.

Knooked Scarf
One more repeat of the pattern has been completed.

Tunisian Lace Scarf
The border on the wrap has been done and the ruffle on one end has been completed. Just need to do the ruffle on the other end and sew in the ends and this will be done.

Baby's Jacket, Pants and Hat set
One side of the front is done.

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
The first sleeve has been started.

Small Santa Stocking
The last time I did this I increased the number of stitches by about 25%. This one is done to the pattern but is coming out a little narrower that the pattern say because I'm using 8 ply (DK) instead of worsted weight.

Tunisian Spiral Blanket
I wasn't planning on starting this at this time but I found myself in a waiting room without the correct tools for the project I had taken with me but I had a suitable hook and yarn so I started it anyway. I don't think there will be a lot of progress made on this for a while as I will only be working on it in waiting rooms until I get other things finished.

As usual, come back on Friday to see what I have finished this week and check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been making.

Friday FOs - 11.07.2014

I have a couple of items to show you this week. One that you would probably be expecting and another toy.

Small Penguin
These small guys only take a few hours to make but I won't need to make more of these until I sell one of the ones I've made, so I should have something different for next week.

Trauma Teddy #44
This is my 26th Trauma Teddy for this year. If I knew how many weeks had passed this year I would know how many weeks I had missed out on making these. I think it's only one.

If you want to see what others have been making just checkout the links in the sidebar.

Wednesday WIPs - 09.07.2014

It has been a good week for staying indoors this week with rain almost every day. I didn't spend all my time crocheting and knitting but I did get quite a bit done meeting all the targets I set for myself.

Here are my WIPs this week.

Woolen Baby Blanket - motifs from Ellen Gormley's book
Four octagons were added this week. Another couple of rows and I will be back to where I was before I pulled it apart.

Murray of Athol Tartan Rug
Seven more chains have been completed and woven in on this one.

Knooked Scarf
Another pattern repeat has been completed on this one.

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
The body is now complete. Time to start on the sleeves.

Baby's Jacket, Pants and Hat set
The next row is where I split for the two sides of the front so the back is complete.

Tunisian Lace Wrap
The main part of this is done, just working a dc (US sc) chain border around the whole thing then a bit a frilly stuff on either end.

Christmas Tree
I know it seems a bit early for Christmas stuff but I figure I need to get a bit done before September so I can start selling it in Spring.

I have also finished a couple of items which you will see on Friday so come back then to have a look. In the mean time, check out the links in the sidebar.

Friday FOs - 04.07.2014

All my finished items only took a short while this week. Each one only took one or two afternoons.

Here they are.

Two Hanging Towels
This will be the last of the towels for a while. I will let my stocks dwindle a bit before I go out and get some more.

Small Penguin
I think I put the beak too high and made the eye bulge more than I had intended, but these are the things that make my creations unique.

Trauma Teddy #43
One more teddy to make some child a little happier about getting a needle or needing an ambulance ride.

That's it from me for this week. Check out the links in the sidebar to see what other people have been making.

Wednesday WIPs - 02.07.2014

I have been quite productive this week having work on all my projects. I won't show you all the projects that I have worked on this week as some of them have produced finished objects. This is what my WIPs looked like after Craft'n'Cuppa this afternoon.

Woollen Baby Blanket - motifis from Ellen Gormley's book.
I managed to add a full row of squares this week.

Knooked Scarf
Another repeat of the pattern has been added to this.

Murray of Athol Tartan Rug
7 chains have been woven in on this completing the first green and black blocks.

Tunisian Lace Wrap
This has now reached an appropriate length so I have 8 rows of TKS and the trim to do.

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
The body of the jacket is almost complete. Just one more row and the edging then I start on the sleeves.

Baby's Jacket, Pants and Hat set
I started another Jacket Pants and hat set to replace the one I sold a few months ago.

That's all the WIPs for this week. Come back on Friday to check out all the finished objects. In the mean time, check out the links in the sidebar to see what others have been making.
