Last week was kinda unusual for me as it was the first FO Friday post that didn't get any comments. It seems you people aren't really interested in hanging towels. Well, I guess that means I can't expect any comments this week either as the only FOs I have this week are ...
... hanging towels ... |
Maybe next week I will have something more interesting to show, but I won't promise anything.
If you want to see more interesting FOs then check out Tami's Amis.

I didn't manage to read anyone's FO's last week, these are pretty neat :) Did you make them for your own use or are they to be gifts?
ReplyDeleteNeither, I sell these at local craft markets.
DeleteI think these are great! I love crochet towels but haven't made any of my own yet. Do you have any tips on how to make these?
ReplyDeleteHow do you attach the crochet part to the towel? Sewing machine?
ReplyDeleteNo, I crochet straight on to the towel using a smaller, sharper hook than I would usually use with the yarn, then switch to the larger hook to crochet the actual top.
DeleteI don't recall what I did last Friday LOl..... So much has happened since then.. Do you cut your towels in half ??
ReplyDeleteHave a great day :))
Yes, although some people have suggested that they would hang better if I didn't.
DeleteI like the hanging towels! my grandmother actually bought some towels, cut them in half, and requested I crochet hanging loops on them ...about two years ago. are you using a specific pattern? I'd love to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started making these I used patterns that a friend gave me but I found it too hard to get the right number of stitches on the towel so I just kinda made up my own and have been using it ever since.
