Love

I left my notes at church this morning so I'm borrowing Sue's.

The reading for today came from 1 Corinthians 13:4-6

What is love? Love is not just a feeling. Love is a choice no matter what the circumstances.

We are told in John 3:16 that God loves us so much that He gave us His son. Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is to love God with everything that we are, and that we should love our neighbour. He also told the disciples to love everyone in the same way that He loved them.

If God loves us that much and Jesus commanded it then that's what we need to do, love everyone unconditionally, no matter what the circumstances.
