WIP Wednesday 12-10-2011

It has been a busy week of crocheting and knitting here this week. Only one of my current projects didn't get any work done on it so I have lots to show.

Another square has been added to my Tunisian Mitred Square Blanket

Only 3 more square to go, then finish the border, sew in the ends and block it.

A few more rows have been added to the Crochenit Cot Blanket.

I still have quite a bit of the aqua in the ball but I think I might change colours anyway and save the rest for later.

I have add quite a few rows to the front of my hoodie.

A few more inches have been added to my scarf.

Knitted Scarf
This scarf is almost as long as I am tall but still isn't long enough to tuck the ends through the loop after folding it in half and wrapping it around my neck so I'll keep going a little longer.

I'm not sure why the colours didn't come out very good in this picture and the previous one. All the the others seemed OK.

I've added another new item to my repertoire.

Christmas Bells
I still have to figure out how to stiffen these starting with what I'm going to use as a former, but I'm sure I'll find something.

My Toddler's Jacket has had a bit of a set back as it needed to be frogged back to the second row, but I think I have it headed in the right direction now.

Somehow I managed to mess up one of the increases on the second row but didn't notice until 4 rows later. Hopefully I have got it right now.

That's is from me for this week. I have 2 finished objects to show off on Friday so check back then. In the mean time, check out Tami's Amis for more WIP Wednesday goodness.

Richard.

  3. You have been up to a lot! A friend recently brought me some old mags that she wanted to discard. There were several holiday issues that have Christmas orniments in them and I am angling towards making some soon. Tin foil might be a good form, you can shape it and then drape the bells over or use newspaper and cover that will plastic wrap to keep the ink from transfering. HTH I like the colors of your scarf!
