WIP Wednesday 22-02-2012

Someone last week suggested that I must get through a lot of yarn in a week. Well, that may be true, but my stash doesn't seem to be going down at all. Here are all my WIPs for this week.

1. The Daffodil Teacloth - yarn was bought specifically for this so didn't come out of my stash.

Daffodil Teacloth - 3rd segment
The 3rd segment is definitely taking shape but it is still slow progress.

2. Tommy Turtle - yarn was bought especially for this also so no depletion of stash here.

Tommy Turtle - bottom half
Just have the decrease and the head to go, then I can start of the top half.

3. Dawg - another project that I bought yarn for but may not have enough. I have one ball left and I'm only part way through the second sleeve. I don't think I will have any left to do the hood and the pocket.

2nd sleeve of hoodie for me (Dawg by Drew Emborsky)
The second sleeve is starting to take shape but there is still quite a ways to go.

4. Zoom - I bought enough yarn to make 5 of these so I don't think this counts as stash yarn either.

Toddler's Jacket (Zoom by Ellen Gormley)
I managed to add a couple more rows to this today but I'm not getting as much time to work on this as I had hoped.

5. Crochenit Cot Blanket - I started this specifically to use up some of my stash of 4 ply baby yarn.

As you can see, I have had another change of colour, but progress is slow.

6. Men's Afghan Stitch Gloves - definitely stash yarn.

Back of First Glove
This is for a TCAL with Kim Guzman (CrochetKim Cal on Yahoo). I have about an inch to go before I start doing the fingers.

7. Slanted Scarf - I bought the yarn when I visited Bendigo Woollen Mills about 18 months ago so I counting this as stash yarn even though it never actually made it into the stash.

I added a few rows to this today while waiting for class to start.

Yes, that's right, 7 WIPs, and they're not the only things that got worked on this week. Check back on Friday and you will see the other items, in the meantime, checkout out Tami's Amis, Ginny's Yarn Along and Kristine's WIP Wednesday posts for more WIP Wednesday goodness.

  1. I hate when I don't have enough in my stash to finish a project. It happens to me all the time! Great projects. Can't wait to see the slanted scarf progress. Thanks for sharing on my WIP Wednesday.

  2. You could always do the pocket and hood in a contrasting color.

  3. More than seven things in one week and you don't think you can do March Madness?? Bah, I say. =) Everything is looking great. The stash may not be going down, but you still are getting through a lot of meterage!
