We got to meet up with friends from Tuggeranong this morning when they came to bring us the message.
The reading this morning came from Matthew 14:22-36.
Jesus is in the storms of life, we are not alone.
Jesus promised us that we would have trouble, He never promised us an easy life. While most of us don't go looking for trouble like storm chasers, we will face many storms.
God has promised "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you" Hebrews 13:5
Jesus is in the storms of life.
Jesus wants us to keep our eyes on Him at all times.
Jesus sometimes asks us to do ludicrous things, but that's OK. We need to trust and obey.
Peter had the courage to get out and have a go.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will keep your paths straight" Proverb 3:5&6.
Will you have the courage to step out in faith this week?
May God bless you richly this week.
Richard.
