WIP Wednesday 06/07/11

Another load of WIPs for your enjoyment.

Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time with Sue ate the hospital as she was there for her pre-admission clinic. During that time I managed to do the edging and button hole as well as part of a sleeve on the toddlers jacket.

I also added a section to my "2 for the road" scarf.

I started on the next section while waiting for Sue to have a chiro adjustment.

Last Friday I managed to add another square to the Tunisian Crochet Mitred Square Blanket.

I have also managed to make a few more patches for my Crochenit Blanket.

Just another 5 1/2 patches to go and I will be joining them and crocheting a border.

On Saturday, we had our monthly knitting party at Spotlight and I started a knooking project.

A knooked beanie.
This is my second attempt at knooking and I think I'm doing OK. The ribbing is a bit looser than I would like but the rest of it is going quite nicely.

And lastly, I managed to add another 20 rows to my knitted scarf.

I think I'm going to have to limit how many projects I do at one time as some of these are just taking so long. I even have one project that isn't progressing at all.

Since Sue goes into hospital tomorrow I will need to decide which project I will be taking with me to do while sitting in the waiting room and on my many visits over the next week or so. Maybe I'll take a different project each day so that they all get a bit added to them.

I will be back on Friday with a few FOs, including Sue's cape. If you want to check out more WIPs, have a look at Tami's Amis.

  1. Oh my gosh, such lovely work!!! The Mitred square blanket looks awesome, the pattern of the colors is really cool!!!

    Great work!

  2. The toddler jacket looks fantastic - really gorgeous colourway x

  3. Wow you were busy this week! Lots of stuff for us to see. I really like the tunesian blanket.

  4. Holly cow.....loads of projects. Good luck on all, loving the toddler jacket, nice color too.

  5. Good luck to Sue on her hospital visit!! You projects are all awesome. I really look forward to your posts each week, Richard! Thanks for joining in.

  6. So many great projects. I love the toddler's jacket. Having multiple projects going at once is kind of like a juggling act. But on the bright side, things rarely get boring. Thanks for showing the knooked beanie. I had to look it up on YouTube because this is the first time I have encountered the technique. Very cool!

  7. Wow, you have a lot going on. Can you tell me if knooking is any different from tunisian crochet? :)

  8. I was curious so I looked up Knooking, very interesting! All your projects are coming along great. Best wishes to you and Sue during her hospital stay.
