WIP Wednesday 09.05.2012

There has been so much progress here this week and I'm so much closer to getting things finished. This means that I will be starting some new projects soon.

Rose Clan Dress Tartan Rug
This one is progressing slowly but it is progressing.

Sleeves for Hoodie - Dawg by Drew Emborsky
The main pieces of this are complete so the next time you see this they should be sewn together. Unfortunately I don't have any yarn left for foing the hood, cuffs or pocket so it looks like I will need to order more.

Crochenit Cot Blanket
A few more rows have been added to this.

Daffodil Teacloth
 The fourth segment is growing.

Squares in Squares Blanket
This is growing quite quickly now as the triangles get bigger with each stage. I'm not sure why but this always seems to want to show up as blue in the photos. I've adjusted the colours a bit this week so that you can see that the last stage was actually a shade of purple.

Slanted Scarf
It's getting harder to see the progress on this, but it is still growing.

Toddler's Jacket - Zoom by Ellen Gormley
I made a bit more progress on this than I had anticipated. One more session like the last one and this will be finished. This my even be my FO for next week.

Back of Left Glove - Men's Afghan Stitch Gloves
Another item that is almost finished. I should have all the crochet done this week, then all that's left is the sewing together.

Now that I've finished the main components of my hoodie I will need to find another project to take with me to doctors appointments and the like. The scarf might be OK to take with me although I'm a bit wary of taking knitting as it's difficult to leave it in the middle of a row. The Toddler's jacket is another good one although I think I may need to start another. I'm sure I'll find something.

To see what others have been making this week, check out Tami's Amis, Ginny's Yarn Along, Kristine's Ambassador Crochet and Nicole's Keep Calm, Craft On.

Richard.

  2. Everything looks great! I am wondering...how big is the squares in squares blanket? It's hard for me to get a sense of scale there.
