Wednesday WIPs - 30.09.2015

I don't have as much to show you today as I would normally but that isn't because I haven't worked on many projects. I have worked on quite a few this week and have finished a couple. Here are the projects that are still WIPs.

Moogly CAL Square #19

I decided to continue with my sequence and make this square in a single colour. It loses something but still looks quite good.

Two Penguins 

This was one of the projects that I expected to get finished this week, but I haven't even finished all the parts. I still have a pair of wings to make before I'm ready to sew them together.

Baby Blanket 

I have worked another round on this, even if it doesn't look any different to how it looked last week.

Story Time Blanket 

I'm still making progress on this even though the weather is starting to warm up.

Wednesday WIPs - 23.09.2015

Quite a few of my projects have been worked on this week. That probably means that there isn't much progress on any of them but I hope it's noticeable anyway.

Two Penguins 

I have made pretty good progress on these and might even be able to finish them next week.

Baby Blanket 

It is a little harder to see the progress on this one but progress has been made.

Story Time Blanket 

I'm sure you can see the progress on this one although I haven't made as much progress as I would have liked.

Beanie 

I'm on the decrease section of this and may have it finished within the next week also.

Shy Butterfly Baby Booties 

The second bootie has been made so both are ready for the butterfly cuff. I could have three items finished next week!

Moogly CAL Square #19

I didn't get this one done this week but I have another week before the next square comes out so there is plenty of time.

Wednesday WIPs - 16.09.2015

I have managed to work on quite a few of my projects and even started a couple of new ones. The following is what they look like now.

Story Time Blanket 

A little bit has been added to this. I think progress will start to slow down now as the weather starts to warm up. It won't be long before it's too warm to have on my lap.

Baby Blanket 

I should be able to work on this one a little longer as it's lighter but it will get too warm to have on my lap in a couple of months.

Boy's Rugby Jumper 

I have all the parts ready to finish this one off, I just need to sew on the collar and the zip.

Shy Butterfly Baby Bootees 

Another pair of bootees to go with the jacket made with the same yarn. I needed to make the DK version first so I knew what adjustments I needed to make for this pair.

Friday FOs - 11.09.2015

I have only managed to finish one item this week and there are no prizes for guessing what it is.

Wednesday WIPs - 09.09.2015

This week has been another busy one with quite a few projects being worked on. Here are my WIPs for this week.

I was back at Mt Beauty on Saturday and didn't sell anything so had plenty of time to start another one of these. I would have preferred to have spent more time talking with prospective customers.

Moogly CAL Square #18

I'm beginning to regret choosing to do this CAL in 4 colours as I'm running out of the ones I chose. I have already added 2 colours and it looks like I will be adding more. I think that if I do another of these CALs I will just select a random set of colours from my stash. 

Baby Blanket 

It may be a bit difficult to see the progress on this one because it's all one colour but I have made some progress.

Black Beanie 

I have made much better progress on this now that I have the correct number of stitches.

Story Time Blanket 

I actually forgot to take a photo of the beanie when I was taking photos of the other projects so it isn't as clear as it could be. Black doesn't photograph very well under artificial light.

Another work in progress is getting Sue to post her own blog. She needs a bit of help with some of the software but should have something posted in a couple of days. Her blog address is http://suzijane56.blogspot.com.au

Wednesday WIPs - 02.09.2015

Having finished a couple of items in the last couple of weeks I have started new ones to replace them. Here are my WIPs for this week.

Shy Butterfly Baby Booties 

Having finished the baby jackets I thought I should make booties to go with them. These might not be an exact matching pair as I have little of the yarn left and will have to use whatever comes up in the remainder of the yarn.

Story Time Blanket 

I haven't given much information about this as I figure that it will reveal itself as it gets made. I will tell you that it was requested by one of the Sunday school leaders to be used during story time, hence the name.

Beanie 

The father of the child that I made the last beanie for has decided that he wants one for himself and decided that he wants his in black. I would have had more done but had a problem calculating the number of stitches that I needed to cast on.

Baby Blanket 

This is one of my wife's projects that she has handed over to me because she can't crochet any more. I haven't actually worked on this yet but wanted to show where I started.

Sue has given me her current project to show off.

Hand Bag

Sue seems to be somewhat fixated on tartans at the moment.
